The Village of Canton is seeking to fill a full-time position responsible for overseeing year-round recreation activities and programs. Primary responsibilities include developing and managing recreation programs for Canton residents of all ages, scheduling and overseeing the Recreation Pavilion, Taylor Park, and other recreation facilities, parks, and trails, and supervising recreation, facility, and maintenance staff. Canton’s Recreation Program is a shared service between the Village and the Town; the Recreation Director reports to the Mayor in conjunction with the joint Town/Village Recreation Committee.
