The Village of Canton seeks a full-time Maintenance Electrician Department of Public Works. Salary is ($59,663.46). Health insurance, New York State Retirement eligibility, and paid vacation is included. This work involves the performance of skilled and difficult electrical operations in connection with inspection and preventative maintenance. If not possessed, new hire will be given 3years to obtain their Waste water treatment plant and Water treatment plant operators license.
Minimum qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma or possession of an Individual Education Plan Diploma and four years full-time paid experience as an Electrician. Applicant must be 18 years old or older, and willing to work evenings and weekends. A driver’s license is required with a CDL B preferred.
