Recreation Pavilion Rink Assistant
Part-time Laborer
The Canton Recreation Department seeks a part-time laborer to provide maintenance support at the Recreation Pavilion. The Rink Assistant will work 8 to 16 hours, typically evenings and weekends; there are immediate openings. The Rink Assistant supports general upkeep of the rink and the facility, including:
- General custodial work – clean locker rooms, restrooms, common areas.
- Ice maintenance – assist Zamboni operators with cleaning, chipping, etc.
- Public skate support – greet skaters, collect money, handle skate rentals.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have good interpersonal skills. Training will be provided.
