Town and Village Prepare for Virtual Meetings

March 25, 2020

In compliance with social-distancing imperatives and to Executive Order 202.1, issued by Governor Andrew Cuomo on March 12, 2020, the Town and Village Boards are establishing plans and procedures for holding monthly Board meetings virtually. A shared Zoom account has been created and members of the Town/Village Communications and Technology Committee (Bob Washo and Karin Blackburn for the Town, Carol Pynchon and Anna Sorensen for the Village) are working with Board and staff members to prepare for the new format.

The public is welcome to “attend” these virtual meetings. As is the case for all open municipal meetings, members of the public are invited to observe and listen to the proceedings; questions, comments, and concerns may be shared only during the public comment portion of the agenda.

Participation in the Village Board’s meeting on Monday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m., via Zoom, requires advanced sign up here. After signing up, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Here is the meeting agenda.
