PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Canton Village Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Thursday, December 14, 2023, commencing at 5:30pm, to receive public comment on an application for a site plan review at 41 West Main Street, Canton, NY 13617. The applicant is planning to renovate the existing 41 W Main St. building into a brewpub which exceeds the allowable impervious surfaces per the Lot Development Standards of the Village of Canton Zoning Law. Parking and exterior lighting will also be reviewed; according to zoning law a site plan review with public hearing is required.
The meeting will be convened in the boardroom of the Municipal Building at 60 Main Street, Canton, NY, where the public may attend. A Zoom virtual meeting option will also be made available. The public is invited to comment during the public hearing, and to view or listen to the meeting in person or via Zoom. Zoom connection information is available on the municipal website at https://cantonny.gov/event/village-planning-board-meeting-21/.
Public comments may also be submitted via email addressed to chairperson Barry Walch, at [email protected] or by regular mail addressed to the Canton Village Planning Board, 60 Main Street, Canton, NY 13617, to be received by 4:00pm on Thursday, December 14, 2023, and will be made part of the record of the public hearing and meeting.
