Join the EDF Renewables (EDFR) team for a meeting with community members where we will provide information, in an open house–style format, on Rich Road Solar and Storage, located in the town of Canton in St. Lawrence County. The proposed project will provide economic benefits to the region and generate up to 240 MW of renewable energy, which is enough to power more than 62,000 New York households. The project will also include 20 MW of energy storage capacity.
Per 19 NYCRR 900–1.3(b), this meeting will educate the public about the proposed project, including the anticipated application date and information regarding the future availability of local agency and community intervenor funds under Subpart 900–5 of the 94–c regulations. Intervenor fund requests will be due within 30 days of the date the application is filed, and information about how to seek funds will be provided. In addition, EDFR experts will provide updates on project development, studies conducted, land acquisition, our conversations with state and local officials, other consultations and the 94–c permitting process.
