Winter is here and the Canton Recreational Pavilion ice rink is in full swing!
The rink is open daily with several public skating opportunities offered each week. During the school week, Adults, Tots, & Seniors Skate is offered most Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am to 12:20pm. This is immediately followed by Adult Open Hockey, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12:30pm to 1:50pm. Most weekends offer Public Skating from 3 to 4:50pm. Sport lovers of all ages are welcome! Admission costs $2 per skater (age 5 & under are free) and rental skates are available for $3.
All skaters 12 and under must wear a helmet, and must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Season passes are available for both individuals ($30) and families ($60). During school holidays there is often Youth Open Hockey for players 12 and younger and Adult & Teen Open Hockey for players 13 and older. Monthly public ice calendars are available on this website and at the Canton Recreational Pavilion.
