PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Canton Village Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, commencing at 5:30pm, to receive public comment on an application for a site plan review. The applicant is planning to install a bike rack in front of 53 Main Street, Canton, and a decorative archway in Prentice Lane between 75 Main Street and 77 Main Street; according to zoning law a site plan review must be conducted, and a public hearing can be requested at the discretion of the Village Planning Board.
The meeting will be convened in the downstairs courtroom of the Municipal Building at 60 Main Street, Canton, NY, where the public may attend. A Zoom virtual meeting option will also be made available. The public is invited to comment during the public hearing, and to view or listen to the meeting in person or via Zoom. Zoom connection information is available on the municipal website at www.cantonny.gov/events.
Public comments may also be submitted via email addressed to chairperson Barry Walch, at [email protected] or by regular mail addressed to the Canton Village Planning Board, 60 Main Street, Canton, NY 13617, to be received by 4:00pm on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, and will be made part of the record of the public hearing and meeting.
