The municipal building parking lot at 64 Main Street in Canton will be closed for contaminant testing beginning Tuesday evening, September 13, until further notice.
According to notification from Parker Excavation, “We will be closing off the parking lot of the former McDonalds…on the evening of September 13th between 8 and 9 p.m. The lot will remain closed until test pit completions are done and we are able to safely re-open it.”
During this time visitors may use metered parking on Main Street or free parking in the municipal lots on the other side of Main Street.
