Registration for Big Wheels begin at 5:30 p.m.; races begin at 6 p.m.Block Dance, sponsored by LeBerge and Curtis, takes place in the block between the library and post office.
Fun and games begin in the park at 10 a.m.Line up for the parade, in the parking lot behind the H.B Smith county building, begins at 12 noon; the parade begins at 1 and passes through the Village and up Main Street to the Village Park.

The Golf Tournament will be held at the St. Lawrence University Golf Course located at the Best Western University Inn. There will be a shotgun start at 5:00 pm and the tournament will be a 9 hole Captain and Crew style. It is $35.00 a person, hamburgers and hotdogs will follow.

The Town of Canton Planning Board and ZBA will hold a joint meeting Tuesday, August 28 @ 7:00PM to discuss the possible subdivision of one lot into three lots. The lot is on the corner of County Rt 25 and Nickerson Rd
