Budget Hearing
April 21, 2021
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Canton Village Board of Trustees will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at 6:30pm, to receive public comment on the proposed Village budget for fiscal year starting June 1, 2021. The annual compensation which is proposed to be paid to each member of the Board of Trustees is the following: (a) Mayor: $8,280.61; and (b) each Trustee: $3,864.28. The proposed budget may be viewed on the Village’s website (Click Here).
The public hearing will be conducted by use of Zoom video-conference, as authorized by Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order 202.15 and subsequent extensions including Executive Order 202.100. The public is invited to view or listen to the public hearing, and to comment during same, by any of the following means:

Public comments may also be submitted via email addressed to Mayor Michael Dalton at [email protected] or by regular mail addressed to the Mayor at 60 Main Street, Canton, New York 13617, to be received by 4:00pm on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, which will be made part of the record of the public hearings and meeting.
