The Town of Canton will hold a Public Hearing before its regular Board Meeting on August 10th, 2022, at 5:45 pm, at the Town Hall, 60 Main Street, Canton, NY 13617 for the purpose of considering a local law enacting a moratorium on all Anaerobic Digester development in the Town of Canton, County of St. Lawrence, and State of New York. Current, grandfathered operations are excepted from the moratorium. A copy of the proposed local law is available for public inspection in the office of the Town Clerk and on the Town of Canton’s website located at http://www.cantonny.gov/.
The public is invited to comment during the public hearing, and to view or listen to the meeting via zoom.
