NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Canton will hold a Public Hearing before its regularly scheduled March Board Meeting on March 11th, 2021, at 5:45 PM for the purpose of considering a local law to regulate Battery Energy Storage Systems in the Town of Canton, County of St. Lawrence. A copy of the proposed local law is available for public inspection at this link and in the office of the Town Clerk.
Both this public hearing and the following Town Board meeting will be conducted by use of Zoom video-conference, as authorized by Governor Andrew Cuomo’s Executive Order #202.1 issued on March 12, 2020; Executive Order 202.14 issued on April 7, 2020; and Executive Order #202.15 issued on April 9, 2020. The public is invited to comment during the public hearing, and to view or listen to the meeting by joining the Zoom video conference using the following:
