Residents Urged to STAY AT HOME

April 2, 2020

On Thursday morning, April 2, Mayor Michael Dalton and Supervisor Mary Ann Ashley participated in the regularly scheduled weekly conference call with the SLC Department of Public Health. The Mayor and Supervisor also continue to receive daily updates from the health department and the Office of Emergency Services; pertinent information is shared with their staff and Boards.

At this week’s briefing, health department personnel discussed the incidence of COVID-19 in the County and again emphasized the importance of universally recommended precautions: social distancing, no social gatherings, regular hand washing, avoid touching face.

Most importantly they urged everyone to stay at home to help curb the spread of the disease. For those deemed to be essential personnel who continue to work, attention to social distancing and hygiene precautions is urged.

The Mayor and Supervisor join County, State, and Federal officials in encouraging everyone to follow all precautions and stay at home.

Village and Town updates will continue to be posted on this page.
