RECREATION LABORER (part-time/seasonal)
Village of Canton, New York
The Canton Recreation Department seeks a part-time, seasonal laborer to provide maintenance support at the Recreation Pavilion Ice Rink. The position will be 8 to 16 hours per week, typically evenings and weekends; there are immediate openings. The position supports general upkeep of the rink and the facility, including:
- General custodial work – clean locker rooms, restrooms, common areas.
- Ice maintenance – learn how to operate a Zamboni safely and effectively
- Public skate support – greet skaters, collect money, handle skate rentals.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older and have good interpersonal skills. Training will be provided.
