Town of Canton Hearing of Assessment Complaints: 

Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Canton, St Lawrence County has completed the tentative assessment roll for the current year and that a copy has been filed with the Canton Town Clerk at the Municipal Building, 60 Main Street, Canton, NY 13617, where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fourth Thursday of May.

The Assessor, or their designee, will be in attendance with the tentative roll by phone at Canton Municipal Building, 315-386-2595 during the following time by appointment only:

Monday May 11, 2020        8:00 AM – 12 PM
Thursday May 14, 2020     4-8 PM
Saturday May 16, 2020      8:00 AM – 12 PM
Wednesday May 18, 2020  12-4 PM

The Board Assessment Review will meet Tuesday, May 26, 2020 between the hours of 4-8 PM to hear and examine all complaints in relation to assessments, upon the application of any person believing themselves to be aggrieved.

Notice of Completion of Assessment Inventory and Valuation Date for 2020
(Pursuant of Section 501 if the Real Property Tax Law)

Notice is hereby given that assessment and valuation data for the Town of Canton is available for review at the Canton Municipal Building, 60 Main Street, Canton, NY 13617.
