ACTIVE SHOOTER TRAINING

I am pleased to announce the Canton Chamber will be offering active shooter training . We are  working in collaboration  with SUNY Canton State Police Chief Alan Mulkin to offer this training FREE  to all churches, schools  and business in our community.   This is very valuable training that everyone should take advantage of.  We may live in a rural community but that does not mean we are immune to the new epidemic of active shooter violence that has been erupting in our country.  It is best to be trained and know how to respond should such a horrific event take place.Training will be held  at the St. Lawrence county Housing Council, 19 Main St. in Canton on Monday March 30th.  There will be a morning class at 8am,  serving coffee and donuts and an evening class at 5pm,  serving bottled water and cookies.  We highly encourage you to pre-register with the Canton Chamber of Commerce at [email protected],we will how ever welcome any walk ins.
