The Canton Town Clerk’s Office is seeking a Deputy Clerk. The Deputy Clerk reports to and serves at the pleasure of the Town Clerk. The position is full time; 35 hours a week, some evening work is required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Office Administrative and Secretarial duties
- Assist the public
- Assist Town Departments as needed
- Records Management
- Handling of confidential records and municipal funds
Candidates must be organized and detail oriented, able to work independently and collaboratively. Position requires multi-tasking skills, attention to detail, computer proficiency, professionalism and enjoy working with the public.
