Get outside and unplug this summer during brand new sessions for curious kids at littleGrasse Foodworks, the North Country’s only community farm, conveniently located next to Taylor Park. Participants will have the chance to step into a lush landscape of vegetables, herbs, fruits, and flowers at littleGrasse. Each weekly session will feature a fun and informative theme where youth dig into the sights, sounds, and smells of the farm. The program consists of two sessions that are 3 weeks apiece, the first is for ages 9-12 and the second is for 13-17. Participants 9-12 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Themes include pollinators, plant identification, soil, weather, chickens in the garden and more. All proceeds directly support current and future recreation programming. See you on the farm!
