Open Community Recreation Activities

The following open community recreation activities are all free of charge. Show up once or every time. These activities are meant to assist in gathering community members at a common time to enjoy similar interests. Click on each activity to learn more.

BICYCLE SAFETY

GOLF CLINICS

Partridge Run Golf Course Golf Pro, Kevin Maginn, offers skills clinic for golfers of all abilities. Please contact the Pro Shop for more information, (315) 386-4444.

KARATE

Youth, teens, college students, and adults are all welcome to attend a free introductory lesson at any time. American Kang Duk Won Karate, Fitness, Self-defense, and Personal Safety classes have been taught in school districts, fitness centers, colleges, and community recreation programs throughout the region for many years.  No previous martial arts experience is required to join. All lessons during the three month sessions are taught in a traditional and highly respectful manner. Workouts improve each student’s physical conditioning, focus, confidence, and personal safety awareness. It is also important for maintaining good health. Classes are taught by AKDWK Black Belt Instructors: Frank and Jennifer Palumbo, 315-854-6880. Call to join!
